Poor Kids Don’t Beg.

Poor kids do not beg. They have everything. They have enough. They don’t have what they need so what they have becomes enough. They have enough. A little here and a little there, a little pear they’ll have to share.
It’s a miracle they live another day. What pushes them into tomorrow? What guarantees it will be different. Or we just have to live because we’re all in this gig so better just play and get on with it.
If given a chance, what would they ask for? Who would they ask? Who would give them what they ask for? Why would anyone give them what they ask? Poor kids don’t beg.
Poor kids know they don’t have anything, poor kids know their parents don’t have anything to give, anything they want, anything they need. Poor kids don’t beg, it’s simpler that way.

It's a trip! I'm an undergrad student of B. Sc. Geomatic Engineering and Geospatial Information Systems at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
